Google Video Ads

What are Google Video Ads? A new(er) form of PPC (and CPM) marketing which appear on the Google Partner Network which is the majority of adsense sites. Instead of seeing adsense, the visitor sees a static movie frame. You can either pay per 1000 impressions, or the better option is per click.

With G Video Ads if someone plays your video on a site this is NOT classed as a click and as such, you can pitch your product prior to them visiting your page so your traffic is a hell of a lot more targeted than regular PPC, you pay only when they click through your video to your site.

As you can see, because you get to pitch your idea to them prior to having to pay anything, your leads will convert at a much higher percentage. In adsense/adwords you only get to pitch two short sentences, imagine how much more powerful voice and video are at getting your point accross.

There can be sneaky methods involved in it, most “webmasters” have adsense as an extra form of revenue so pick your direct competitors and have your video screenshot showing something like “click this video to see why this website will not help” when they click it, you can go ahead and tell them why they should instead go to your site.

As well as the actual video, you can place affililiate links above and below it to maximize your returns. Due to the desperate nature of regular PPC kiddies to gain top spot on the search engine, the potential returns are reducing due to the increasing costs of clicks. We need to look into new methods of getting the advantage back.

Google Video Ads could be just what you are looking for.

WebClicker v2.56 - create artificial clicks

There are advertisement services all over the world that pay for every “unique” click. To make sure for them that you do not earn money by clicking 1000x on your own, they store every IP used. This address cannot be changed, so it’s a good protection to prevent cheating.

WebClicker uses public proxies to load and click those banners. Advertisement systems will recognize every proxy as a single unique user clicking on the banner.
Server administrators have to get aware of this heavy security hole, as customers may use this program to earn hundreds of dollar a month! You as a server administrator and software developer have the opportunity now to test your own servers to improve protection and to detect possible cheating schemes.

* no proxy limit
* no url limit
* support for variable links
* random browser user agents (selectable)
* freely editable document referer
* uses two threads for dual speed (two proxies at a time!)
* a basic proxy list
* option to sort, mix and remove duplicates from proxy list

How to Beat Google Adsense Smart Pricing

How to Beat Google Adsense Smart Pricing
“Smart Pricing” is Google’s way of trying to keep its advertisers happy by lowering the cost of junk traffic. Unfortunately, they do this at your expense. Having poor advertisers on your site, will lead to you users clicking the adverts, then leaving the horrible site they land on almost instantly. When people do this, Google will think you’re sending out junky traffic, when actually it’s the advertiser’s site that is at fault. This will lead to the money you get per click, going down.

Fortunately, Google offer a “competitive ad filter”, which allows you to block certain advertisers from showing ads on your site. Login to your Google Adsense account and go to “Adsense Setup” and you’ll see a “Competitive Ad Filter” tab. Click this and you’ll be given a box of URLs to block.

Copy & paste this list into your competitive ad filter and this should help you keep a strong amount per click.

Higher CTR trick

I once had the bad idea of creating a lyrics site and monetize it with Adsense. But the CTR were horrible .. and that’s because the ads were triggered by the lyrics .. so .. if the song was about a medieval prince saving a lovely princess it would trigger a “buy medieval sword” kind of ad ..

So .. it got me thinking how to get a higher CTR without breaking the TOS. A lot of you know that posting images near ads is forbidden and leads to an instant ban .. However .. instead of placing an image near adsense .. I just placed two adsense boxes close to each other .. 1 box that accepts only image ads .. 1 box that only accepts text ads.

CTR went from 1% to 5% in one day. Never had an issue with adsense.

I only recommend it for sites with horrible CTR. Image ads tend to get clicked more and carry low payouts. Also .. google seems to serve the best ads if the number of adsense ads per page is minimum .. so this is why I would only recommend this technique for desperate cases.

Finding Niches to Create Adsense Sites Around

I know there are a lot of you looking into finding the top paying keywords to build your sites/blogs. While there is a bit of talk about paying for these keyword lists or other websites that list top paying keywords, I’ve found them to be limited resources at best.

If you want to conduct your own high paying adsense keyword research, and have no idea what niche to work with, here is a method I like using the free Adwords Tool:

1. Go to the Google Adwords Keyword tool. In the search box, use the “Site Related Search”

2. In the box, add the URL of a major authority site like About.com, Wikipedia, Squidoo, Ezinearticles, etc. Ones that cater to all content.

3. Check the Include other pages box. Set your maximum CPC fairly high ($50-$100)

4. Add the “Show Estimated Avg CPC” column and sort by that criteria. (Remove the groupings to show a list just sorted by price)

Feel free to dig deeper analyzing competition, and discovering traffic.

Google Video Ads - Explained

What are Google Video Ads? A new(er) form of PPC (and CPM) marketing which appear on the Google Partner Network which is the majority of adsense sites. Instead of seeing adsense, the visitor sees a static movie frame. You can either pay per 1000 impressions, or the better option is per click.

Due to the desperate nature of regular PPC kiddies to gain top spot on the search engine, the potential returns are reducing due to the increasing costs of clicks. We need to look into new methods of getting the advantage back.

Google Video Ads could be just what you are looking for.

How Adsense detects fraudulous clicks

  1. The clicker’s IP address matches the one on your adsense account.
    It’s a no-brainer. Don’t click on your own ads.
  2. Suspiciously high CTR
According to a report I read, anything above 10% will be flagged, but 6% or 7% would probably be a safer limit.
  3. Clickers’ IP addresses come from the same geographical area
This is for those who think they can get away with clicking on their ads from their friends’ computer, their grandma’s computer, and their neighbor’s computer. It just ain’t gonna work.
  4. Cookies
Most users don’t use the same IP address everytime they login. That’s why google stores the IP addresses related to a particular user in a cookie. If you thought using a proxy clicker bot was gonna make you an adsense millionnaire, don’t quit your day job.
  5. Short-stay pattern
Usually, visitors on your site take a few seconds to check out your content, and then maybe they’ll click on your links. Google doesn’t like it the other way around, i.e. if they only stay a few seconds just to click on links.
  6. One-site pattern
Google compares different users’ activities on different sites. It will ask: why is this user clicking on ads on site X and not on any other site?
  7. Direct-access pattern
Google doesn’t like it when one category of users clicks on your ads more than another. In particular, they don’t like it when users who access your site directly (i.e. no referrer) click on your ads but no one else does. So much for click exchange forums.
  8. Big Brother
Google doesn’t just own adsense. They also own gmail, google earth, and a host of other applications. They WILL track your IP accross these applications so don’t think that just because you don’t use an IP to login to adsense you can use it to click on your ads.
  9. The invisible website
If your website doesn’t rank highly on google’s search engine, they may get suspicious if you get an insane amount of traffic and clicks. The traffic won’t get you banned, but all those clicks better be legit.
  10. Begging the click
Don’t write stuff like “please visit our sponsors” on your webpage. You have to be a moron to think that Google can own a search engine and not find out about this sort of thing.
  11. Conversions
I’m not sure how they verify this one, but it’s obvious: if your clicks don’t convert, it don’t look good.

Adsense referals loophole

One of the best commissions paid by google yet very overlooked by many people, are those from adsense referrals .

These are quoted from google official announcements:

# When a publisher who signed up for Google AdSense through your referral earns their first $5 within 180 days of sign-up, you will be credited with $5.
# When that same publisher earns $100 within 180 days of sign-up and is eligible for payment, you will be credited with an additional $250.
# If, in any 180-day period, you refer 25 publishers who each earn more than $100 within 180 days of their respective sign-ups and are all eligible for payout, you will be awarded a $2,000 bonus (bonus payouts are limited to 1 per year).

Ok, now let’s assume that i have a website that makes me 100$ through adsense daily. The monthly income is 3000$.

On the second hand let s suppose that i can easily “generate” tens of valid adsense accounts, accounts on different real names and i can cash in with them, and i do not break any google’s law, nothing blackhat so far.

If i register 30 accounts through my referral link on adsense, and after that i put up a revenue share scheme on my big website such that instead of an account which makes 3000$ per month, i will use on that website 30 accounts that make each 100 per month, then i will get the same amount of money from these accounts, 30×100$, plus

5$x30 = 150$, when each account reaches 5$
250$x30 = 7500$ when each account reaches 100$
2000$ bonus from adsense

Sum up: 9650$, extra money beside the 3000$ which are found in the 100s accounts.

Ok, this is an idea.

The second part i call it recursive referral scheme. I have an account let say account 1. I register a new account, through a referral link, let’s say account 2, ref of account 1. I register account 3, referred by account 2. and so on.

Let’s say i have reached account 10. When account 10 makes 100$, account 9 makes 250$. Since account 9 made more than 100$, account 8 makes 250$ as well. Since account 8 made more than 100$, account 7 makes 250$ as well. If we continue like these, it comes that for a 100$ that account 10 has made, i receive in bonuses 2250$.

I know the recursive system is flawed if adsense will not considered the money from the referral as being “earned” by the publisher, such that it gives me a new bonus, but what about the first system?

I have started this system this month, and i have mixed accounts created by me under different entities with real accounts from adsense beginners, which i have convinced them to register through my affiliate link. Some of these accounts have already made 100$ very fast, but they are waiting for the pin to come from post mail, you know that security measure. I will let you know if i cash in a big commission from google within next months. So far i have received the 5$ bonuses, but not the big 250$ ones, which should appear after these referal accounts are validated and paid.

Top 10 AdSense Tricks To Boost Your Commission

Google AdSense is fast becoming the preferred way for people to earn an income online. Forget eBay and multiple affiliate programs - Whether you are a work-at-home mom trying to make a little extra cash or an Internet entrepreneur with hundreds of monetized websites, AdSense is truly the easiest way to earn money.

Simply sign up for a free account, grab your ad code and paste it in your site. But here’s the amazing thing - no matter how much money AdSense is making for you right now, a few simple tweaks can increase that amount considerably. And I should know, after learning about these tricks, I more than doubled my AdSense commissions!

The self-proclaimed AdSense gurus and experts are sharing this insider knowledge, for a fee. You can learn all these secrets from them, as long as you buy their e-book, sign up for their seminar or purchase their newsletter. But I’m going to share all their AdSense tricks for free. Here they are:

1) Color code your ads to match your web site palette *exactly*. Don’t use frames around your ads. Instead, in the AdSense code generation interface, make sure you choose the same color as your page background for the ad frame and the ad background.

When choosing the ad heading colors, match them to the *exact* color of your page headings. Use the exact same ad background shade as your page background. Use the exact same ad text font and color as the text on your pages. You can see an example of this color-matching on my search engine advice blog notice the 4 link ad unit and skyscraper text ad unit on the left hand side under the headings Ads by Google as you scroll down the page? The link and text colors are identical to the color palette used throughout the rest of the page.

Near enough is NOT good enough. If you can’t quite get the color matching right, use Google’s built in color palette together with the RGB to HEX or vice versa color converter on this page. That handy little tool was a life saver for me.

This is probably the one single tweak that made the most difference to my commission levels.

2) Try not to use the traditional horizontal banner style or leaderboard image ads because people are blind to them.

3) Use Google’s own AdSense optimization tips and visual heat map to assist you in deciding where on your page to place your AdSense ad code.

4) Research competitive keywords using a keyword research tool such as Keyword Discovery or grab a list of the most popular keywords from various sources and use them in your web site pages where relevant. This article is a good source of frequently searched keywords. Targeting popular keywords should trigger AdSense ads on your pages that utilize those keywords. The more popular the keyword or phrase, the higher AdWords advertisers are generally willing to pay per click for it so the higher your commission on those clicks.

5) Incorporate the AdSense code into your page so that the ads look like a regular part of your site. You can see an example of this on the Internet Dating Stories site where link ads are incorporated within the regular left hand navigation of the site under the heading “Feature Links”.

6) Use Google’s new 4 and 5 link ad units wherever possible. They seem to have a much higher Click Through Rate (CTR) than regular ad styles. You can view all the AdSense ad formats here.

7) Place arrows or images next to your ads to draw attention to them. You can see two different versions of on this search engine article library page at the top (where a pointing hand directs your eye to the ad) and the bottom where 3 images draw your attention to each of the three AdSense ads.

8) Use the full allowance of multiple AdSense ads on each of your pages - 3 regular AdSense ads, plus 1 link unit. Use careful placement of these ads so they blend into your site and don’t distract from your content. Clever use of this allowance can be seen on this page about bad Internet dating stories where you see:

- 1 horizontal 4 link ad unit towards the top of the page under the first paragraph
- 1 vertical skyscraper text ad unit about halfway down the left hand side under “Sponsor Links”
- 1 vertical skyscraper image ad unit down the left hand side under “Sponsor Links”
- 1 horizontal text banner unit at the bottom of the page with images above each ad to draw attention to them.

You can also include 1 AdSense referral button in addition to the 3 other units.

9) Tailor your page content to a particular niche or focus. Page content that is tailored towards a specific theme is more likely to trigger AdWords ads that closely match the content and are therefore more likely to interest your visitors and inspire them to click. Don’t create pages merely for the sake of placing AdSense ads. Visitors (and search engines) can see through this ruse in an instant.

10) Use custom Ad Channels for each of your ad placements, for example, “Top 5 Link Unit Blue Palette” or “Left Side Navigation Image Skyscraper” etc. Tweak, track and measure the success of each of these custom channels so you know what gives you the highest CTR. Some ad formats and colors will work better than others, but you won’t know which until you test, test and test some more!

Adsense Tricks

Once the person has decided on the kind of website he wants, it’s time to apply Adsense. Apart from its importance during at the start of the site’s creation, Adsense could also be used once the site starts to receive high traffic. The first thing to do when applying Adsense is to get high hit keywords which are the ones to bring more profit to your site. But after sometime, an evaluation of keywords must be performed, since some keywords don’t really earn anything and just clog traffic and space in the website. Thus, these keywords must be removed to prevent jeopardizing the site.

Another of the Adsense tricks concerns the location and sizes of the ads. Google advises that ads be placed both at the center and left portion of the web page, since these are the spots where ads are easily noticed. Ads also are visibly better if they come in sizes such as large rectangle 336×280, inline rectangle 300×250, or wide skyscraper 160×600.

Other useful Adsense tricks involve putting generic images on top of the ad to attract visitors and possibly, linking with other sites to generate more income.

Adsense Tricks and Tips to make more money

Most of the webmasters use adsense into their websites . I have found the following tricks to increase adsense revenue.

1) Sites that focus on providing quality content tend not to do as well in Adsense as the content tends to draw attention away from the ads. In other words, the better you do at drawing repeat visitors, the worse you’ll find your Adsense eCPM and numbers in general.

2) Google as a general rule tends to provide better ads over time, as it is a “learning system” of sorts. You may notice a lot of underperforming and garbage ads at first, but as Google learns what users will (or won’t) click on, it will adjust accordingly and provide better ads (which leads to higher revenue for its publishers).

3) Remove the word “blog” where and when possible. A lot of the crappier ads show up on sites that appear to be blogs…for about a month, I kept finding ads for Helium on just about every post, so I removed the word where and when I could and the crappy ads disappeared.

Use Adsense Tricks To Benefit Your Site And Boost Profits

Adsense is really making waves and making its presence felt especially on the affiliate industry. The result of this is that most of the weak affiliate merchants have disappeared. Likewise ad networks are beginning to lose their customers due to Google’s adsense.

If you are a web site owner and you’re losing more rather gaining using affiliate programs that you are advertising then I guess it’s high time that you consider shifting to adsense marketing and start earning which is what you should be doing in the first place.

The best thing about Google is that the adsense that they will put on your site are carefully chosen to match the content on your pages, which is good since your web visitors have a much better chance of clicking on them since they are related to the information that they have search on your site.

Another benefit that you derived from this is that it enhances further the usefulness of your site since other related information that are not found on your site is conveniently supplied by Google through its adsense. This is actually just one of adsense trick.

With Google’s adsense you will no longer have to waste time and effort in choosing various types of ads for the different pages of your site. Google has made everything easy as well as convenient for you. There are no difficult codes to deal with all you get are ads that are carefully chosen to match every contents found on your site.

This will provide you with lots of time to do other important things like creating better and quality contents since most of the search engines considered contents as one of their basis in choosing the sites where they are to put their ads.

Another great thing about Google adsense is that even if you have already existing affiliate links on your site your site will still be allowed to add adsense ads. This means that you will be able to still earn from adsense ads. Plus you may even customize the adsense so that it will appear as part of your web page. You use Google’s custom palette for such an endeavor.

The rationale behind matching the adsense to the theme of your site is that most of the web visitors today are used to clicking on a link that is blue. By having your Google adsense to match the theme of your web page will make it looks like a part or portion of your content. This adsense trick is ideal since it will make the web visitors to click on it thinking that it’s just a link to another page of the web site.

Aside from that you will also be able to filter out those URLs that do not meet your guidelines. You may also block your competitor from advertising on your site. Bear in mind that the fact still remains that adsense is somewhat competing for some space on web sites that all other revenue generating ads are sharing.

With adsense on your web page together with your content people will definitely flock on your site since you have everything that they need. In the long run having an adsense on your site will both benefit you in terms of increase in revenue as well as increase in your web site’s hits.

Adsense Web Tools provide you with Adsense HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) ad code to place on the web pages which you want to display the ads. The Adwords that will be generated using the Web Tool are based on the keyword analysis, word frequency, and the overall link structure of the web. Adsense will have an idea what your webpage is all about, and it can precisely match the advertisement on each page.

Maybe you will wonder how Adsense know what appropriate Adwords needs to be displayed in your site. If Adsense has spidered your site, it automatically knows what Adwords are to be displayed in your site. However, if your site has not spidered yet, Adsense makes use of your site’s URL first to decide what Adwords are appropriate. This is where your own domain will be important. You must invest on your own domain. Keep in mind that it has a significant impact on your Adsense revenues.

It is important that you make use of Adsense Web Tool so that you can maximize your possible earnings with Adsense. Do not rely alone on the displayed ads. Remember that you need to make it “clickable” to every Internet user that will visit your site. Start right and earn as much as $18,000 a month through Adsense.

AdSense Hacking Tutorial V4

AdSense is the best PPC(pay-per-click) programme in the world. Because it have a higher paying rate. So if you are using AdSense for a long time and cant make any money with it. You need help. In this tutorial, you will learn what is adsense, how adsense works and how you can cheat them.

How AdSense works, the basics

You put ads on your website, your visitor see those ads. and when they click on them you get money. if you are thinking that the whole thing is simple as that; then wake up, your in a dream.

Google place their ads, anyone can see them but google will start tracing them if they click on the ads. but the million dollar question is how they trace the clicker? here how they do it:

1. By Cookie.

2. By IP address.

3. By Referrer.

4. By User-agent.

5. Screen Resolution.

We will try to beat google in this tutorial. By hiding or faking those informations.

Now to the earing section. How google calculate earing. if you get your first visitor, your impression will be 1. Impression means now many times your ads are shown to the public. google will calculate the impressions and the clicks, and pay you that amount. But if your 1st visitor clicked on a ad, it will be suspicious. because google will do this calculation:

number of clicks (divided by) number of impression (%)

it will give a numerical result like 10% so google is calculating the ratio of the clicks and impressions. think that you have 13 impressions and 1 visitor clicked on a ad, so the calculation is

1 / 13% = 7.69230769

this number is called the CTR. but if you have 1 impression and 1 click your CTR will grow to 100. google will ban you if the CTR is higher then 10. [7-9 is safe]

Every ad has it own value. like an insurance ad, it is a 14$ ad. google will not pay that amount to you per click. if your CTR is 7, google will divide the amount with CTR. and you will get the result. like:

14/7=2$/per click

so getting the high paying ads are important. i will show you how to get it.

Getting Started

1: Get an adsense account from http://www.adsense.com

they will approve your account in 1-2 days.

2: create a new php or html page and paste there the adsense code.

3: download “high paying keywords” and paste it there.

4. goto your site

5. Click on a ad.

6. Do NOT close the site immediately. if its a insurace ad fill up the forms with junk info and submite.

7. clear cookies and repeat the steps.

How To Make Money Fast Using Adsense

I’ve been making money from Adsense for the past 3 years and have hit both the highs and lows before.

I’ve reach $100 per day before (using tedious greyhat methods) and have hit a low $5 per day (When Google changes algorithm).

Yeah, I almost gave up Adsense at one point.

Today, I’m back to just $600+ per month and after playing with black, grey and white hats, I came to some conclusions. I want to play a fair game with Google now and so I’m building my Adsense earnings properly with time-tested techniques.

Trust me, I’ll reach my $1000 per month by June and $2000 per month by end of this year.

Here’s what I discovered and if you should follow my advice, you should have no problems reaching a good $10 per day (which I think that’s a basic target that I read from most people in this forum):

Content is king - Heed this advice, friends. Content IS king. Google loves content and if your website keeps giving content they gotta love you.

Big website wins - When I say big website, I mean at least 100 pages of content. It should be built slowly from 10-20 pages, adding 1-2 new pages every week. I have a website that boasts a good 300+ pages of content and that is earning me $4-$5 per day.

Don’t be afraid of PLR - I use both original and PLR content for all my websites. There is not specific ratio between original and PLR content. I have one site with 100+ pages where 80+ pages are PLR and only 20+ pages are original and that site is still earning me a good $5-$8 per day. The key here is to make sure that all the content related to each other. It short, make it themed.

Put Adsense blocks at the upper fold - This shouldn’t be new to you. You ought to have a 728 x 90 block near the top, a 336 x 280 in the content and a 120 x 600 side block for EVERY page. That covers pretty much a lot.

Blend your adsense to the webpage - Nothing new here. You should understand this.

All your Adsense links should be blue - People are used to clicking on the blue link so don’t change them unless you have personally tested to show that other color works for you.

Participate in Ad Revenue sharing forums - This is mostly forgotten. Digital point is one of them. There are many other forums that allow ad revenue sharing. I had days where I receive ‘unknown’ $3 or $5 click out of nowhere. My guess is that it is from the ad revenue sharing forums like Digitial point. Don’t miss this.

Ignore the high paying keywords -
Trust me, they will NEVER work. Stop aiming for those $20 per click keywords. People selling and offering these keyword lists are worthless. Why? Just run a competition check and you will see 20,000,000 competing sites for that keyword. Are you going to try that?

Volume counts - Don’t worry with lower paying keywords. You can slowly build it up. Volume counts in the end. You can get paid a measly $0.10 per click but if that is a well search keyword, you can get 10-20 clicks of $0.10 each, which still represents a good $2 for that keyword.

Never stop the SEO game - SEO is crucial if you want to win the Adsense game. So, always do these everyday: Find good keywords (ie. high search, low competition), write and submit articles, build backlinks legally and naturally, etc. Do it everyday, and you will see the fruits.

Lastly, remember that Adsense is just another monetization tool for all of us. For me I love to monetize via Adsense because I only care about CTR. I don’t have to be concerned with salesletter conversion, landing page CTR, etc. My visitors just click and I make money, easiest money ever.
